TEACH-NOW created the Veterans Initiative to help you find what’s next.
The TEACH-NOW Veterans Initiative
TEACH-NOW wants to provide you with an opportunity to leverage your skills while continuing to serve your country by leading our children to a bright future. Our online certification program can help you to become a certified teacher in as little as 9 months, while equipping you with the skills to be at the top of the teaching profession.
Our programs are built on a highly interactive, collaborative online learning platform in which an instructor works with 10-15 candidates, forming a learning cohort that meets in a virtual classroom once a week. Additionally, we offer flexibility through monthly enrollment periods and class scheduling to allow maximum adaptability to participate day or night across multiple time zones. This is an ideal program for PCS and deployment vulnerable candidates.
We recently saw AZCentral cover one of our graduates, a retired US Army Staff Sergeant, who now works in the Arizona state prison system teaching inmates math and reading. This is just one example of veterans finding inspiring ways to participate in their communities.
This fully accredited university meets the stringent requirements for full or partial tuition reimbursement through the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs Educational Benefits (including Post 911 GI Bill) and assistance through the MyCAA Military Spouse Grant Program. The total cost of tuition for the TEACH-NOW Teacher Preparation Certificate Program is $6000 over a period of 9 months and the cost of tuition to obtain the Master’s in Education Degree with Teaching Certificate is $13000 over a period of 12 months.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs grants TEACH-NOW the eligibility to train beneficiaries, including:
- Active duty military
- Adult children
